Second visit to Waco Kitchen - worth the trip, will not disappoint. Great views, new modern facility, food even better. Balcony in restaurant w/ floor to ceiling accordion glass patio doors. Can't wait to come back and sit out there when the weather is great. They occasionally offer brunch as well.

Arrived from SE. Vectored to a 3-mile final 23R due to extensive training flights using 23L. After landing, I asked for progressive taxi instructions to "self service" and ground steered me to the "Centennial" ramp, just south of the tower, off of taxiway C. The ramp is large, new, and biplane factory doors were open. SS pump was new, quick and easy to operate (Thanks!). Bathrooms located under restaurant, about 100 yds from SS pumps. Again, nice clean, new facilities with one hiccup, doors lock to prevent ramp access, so you'll have to find someone to let you back out to your airplane! Departure was quick and easy, requested B intersection departure 23R and we were quickly on our way again.

The new restaurant is open. This is not the usual fare for a $100 hamburger run. The Waco Kitchen is an upscale restaurant with a great second floor view of the ramp or the Waco manufacturing building. Good food and airplanes everywhere you look. It can't get much better.. Go to Waco Kitchen website for a look at the menu and hours.
