I used AOPA's car rental phone number to arrange a car, and my Enterprise car was ready and waiting when I arrived. Everyone at Cape Aviation was friendly and helpful. It got down to 19F one night I was there, and they put my plane in a HUGE heated hangar (for a reasonable price) and were very accommodating in letting me preflight the plane in the hangar, then pulling it out. Great place to land.

This is my first visit to Cape Girardeau, it is a nice place to stop. Was flying the Trinidad to Dayton, OH from Dallas and we stopped here for fuel and breakfast. Airport was a little hard to see but maybe it was just the sun in our eyes. The Airport has a Control Tower, small amount of traffic while we were there but they do have commuter Air service. Two runways and taxi ramp all in good condition. We were marshalled in by the lie crew right in front of the FBO. Fuel is reasonable, line service is good. Cafe is in the terminal building just a few steps from the FBO building. Cafe at the field is very good as we had breakfast. The Terminal building is probably half cafe and the other half, TSA, Airline, Rental Car counter, etc.
