This is my first visit to Cape Girardeau, it is a nice place to stop. Was flying the Trinidad to Dayton, OH from Dallas and we stopped here for fuel and breakfast. Airport was a little hard to see but maybe it was just the sun in our eyes. The Airport has a Control Tower, small amount of traffic while we were there but they do have commuter Air service. Two runways and taxi ramp all in good condition. We were marshalled in by the lie crew right in front of the FBO. Fuel is reasonable, line service is good. Cafe is in the terminal building just a few steps from the FBO building. Cafe at the field is very good as we had breakfast. The Terminal building is probably half cafe and the other half, TSA, Airline, Rental Car counter, etc.

Great facility. If you want self-serve fuel you need to alert Ground Control. It's located quite a distance from the transit ramp. Ground control is very helpful.

Landed for fuel. Immediately met and serviced. Good clean facilities and friendly service. Popcorn and candy to go. A good place to stop.

Excellent FBO. Reasonable fuel prices, no fees, the expected amenities, and excellent, friendly service.

Stopped over for the night, tower had just closed, but FBO Cape Aviation was open and Very hospital, suggested some good hotels and restaurants and supplied us with their crew car to get there. We can't speak highly enough their service. Hanger for our plane at very reasonable cost and had our plane (COL4) out and ready to take on fuel early next morning for our departure home. So "don't fly over, stop over" quoting one friendly attendant. You won't be disappointed:)
