Have been there many times over the years. Always helpful to have car rental from Enterprise ready upon arrival. Easy parking and access with free overnight on ramp allotted to Channel Islands. Tradewinds cafe next door is a regular long standing institution. Staff very nice and helpful. I just keep coming back.

The folks at Channel Island Aviation were super friendly and helpful. On top of that they offered us a nice discount on jet-A for our Citation. They have wireless Internet, a crew car, and a small pilot store. I give them an A+, thanks guys--we'll be back! Highly recommended.

Rented N10965 C182 with G1000 for a 4 days trip beginning of October 2008. Very efficient and friendly staff. Jon-Michael had me checked out in a few hours and Sarah Oberman was very helpful with the pre-planning of our trip, which was important for us coming in from Denmark for a 9 days trip to California. Provided a crew car for me when I needed it. Hope to be back to join some of CIA's in-flying events. Stayed at Holiday Inn Express, which I can recommend.

The folks at Channel Island are simply wonderful. We were visiting CMA to see an air show, and arrived the night before to avoid the rush. During the show, the staff were very helpful, provided a crew car for us to use to visit the area, and gave us plenty of tips and insights about the area. We also met a very nice pilot who gave us a ride to our hotel as we had arrived late evening when everyone was closed. We stayed at Country Inn and Suites, which is in the middle of nowhere (4 mi from CMA) off highway 101 (can't walk to anything). Without a car, you're dependent on a taxi. The Days Inn would have been a better choice since it is walking distance to several dining establishments.

FBO staff was very helpful, fuel prices were reasonable, and they had a car ready for us right away. We appreciated being able to drive away within 10 minutes of parking the plane. Good job! Departure was equally as efficient.

Quick service and reasonable parking space for a King Air. With a little pressure, offered a discount on only 90 Gal of Jet A. Discounted price was less than our contract price at home base so we changed to order a fill up.

Helpful staff who were honest about price difference between SS and FS. Well established FBO with nice personnel.
