WOW nice FBO! Jeff was super nice. He helped me find all sorts of info when he didn't have to. He even gave me a burrito. Just cause. Thanks JEFF! I'll be back!

Came in on a charter flight. The FBO is brand new and very comfortable. The lineman and owner are friendly and courteous. If you came from a Millionaire or Atlantic or similar be warned - you won't get the same level of service. Line guy drove out on cart to marshall in and place chocks but didn't offer to help with bags or offer passengers a ride or to carry bags in cart. Needed a lav service and the lineguy said - "are we supposed to do that?". Ice..? Some in the freezer for ya. Coffee...? Made a fresh pot you can put in your carafe. Papers - sorry. It's a DIY kinda place. Like I said they just opened the new FBO - They're learning. If you and your pax know that going in - no prob. See if you can score a room at the Trinity Hotel - best in town.

Very nice FBO, and folks were friendly, but unless we went inside and asked for some help, they seemed content to sit on the bar chairs at the desk, despite the fact we were the only airplane on the ramp. Self serve pumps worked fine, and Enterprise was very accommodating when our reservation was for the wrong day (make sure you have a reservation as they don't have a lot of cars in Carlsbad).

Landed in 45kt gust 55kt wind. Thanks to the runways in all directions. After engine stopped, ASI still showed 40kt. It was Saturday afternoon. The FBO was closed in the afternoon during the weekends. However, thanks to the FBO and Enterprise. I was still able to retrieve the pre-arranged rental car without issue. Return the next day. The linemen are very professional and friendly.

Chandler has a new facility that is beautiful. The staff was friendly, and there was no charge for overnight.

I stopped in on my way to Texas. The airport staff was friendly. The self serve pumps worked great. Best of all, there's a runway for any wind direction!!!!

This is a pretty sleepy airport/FBO. We did get our airport rental car, and the lineman stayed after closing to see it through which was nice, but the feel of the place is that time has left the airport behind.

FBO is under new ownership/management. 24-hour SS gas at a good price for NM. Wx computer, coffee, courtesy and rental cars, and expanded weekend hours. We'll be back!

Everything went well here. Be aware however, that the FBO closes at 10AM on weekends. Seems early, but that is how they do it. If you need a rental car or other FBO service you must arrive before 10 AM. Enterprise will pick you up and take you to their office if you are later that 10AM, but this adds delays and Enterprise is closed Sunday. Self-serve island worked well and was reasonably priced

Chandler Aviation was great, helped pick us up from our hotel and find a rental car for us. Fueled us up early and great people to work with. We arrived late and most of the hotels were filled up. Check with the Ocotella Inn as they had rooms when no one else did. They also picked us up at 11:00 PM at night. Also Enterprise is the only car rental place in town. They sold out their cars and I was lucky to get one as somebody turned one in at the airport. Chandler helped with that too as they suggested getting a car this way. I would suggest renting/reserving a car ahead of arrival. There is no good public transportation and the caverns are 30 miles away. This would be a hard place to stay without a car. Caverns and watching the bats fly in the evening are a must do event and worth the travel!

Great service. I arrived expecting to top-off and proceed. The lineman topped it off immediately. I ended up having to spend the night. The guy behind the counter found me a hotel (Continental Inn) that would come and pick me up. For some reason most of the hotels were booked solid.

I had a bad experience here flying in on Memorial Day. The self-serve pump was inop and the FBO attendant (obviously an inexperienced weekend/holiday fill-in) screwed up my fuel order. The efficient folks at Enterprise had left the pre-ordered rental car and paperwork, but the FBO guy was clueless as to how to handle it. I ended up filling out the rental form myself. The next morning the regular FBO staff had to drain 10 gallons from my tanks because of the inexcusable fueling error.

I was very happy with my recent visit to Carlsbad and using Chandler Aviation. Good, friendly service. No parking fees even with no gas purchase. Self serve gas at a decent price. Enterprise rental cars can be dropped off at the airport. The rental car was looking a little expensive until the 50% Friday-Monday rental coupon was found. Lots of good runways for whatever direction the wind is blowing. They are even building a new FBO office, but it is not open yet.
