The folks at DJC were top notch and exactly what I look for in an FBO as a private pilot (PA22). No unneeded services and/or fees, cheap fuel (same price I can get bulk fuel at home for), and very friendly folks. I'll be back.

Friendly people! They welcomed me even though I did not buy gas, not even a can of pop. I flew up from DVN in a 152 to get some practice in Class D and landed to stretch my legs for a few minutes. The line guy chocked my plane, and the lady inside showed me the pilot's lounge. It was a fine experience.

Diverted into KDBQ due to weather closing in on the way to KOSH. Despite a ramp full of aircraft heading to KOSH, Gordy and his team took great care of us, including calling around to multiple hotels to try to get us a discounted rate and staying late to give us a ride into town. Oshkosh fuel discount was a bonus.

Picking up and dropping off today in Dubuque. Most FBO's around the country will waive handling fee for both stops with a fuel purchase on one of the stops. Dubuque Jet Center wants 150 gal. Or $150.00 per stop. This is the first time I have run into this scenario.

Stopped by for fuel on a long cross-country. Staff was helpful and professional; fuel & GPU start were flawless.

Line crew was very helpful and treated us well despite being there for just a brief layover. We did take on fuel despite not really needing it, but gave us a chance to enjoy talking to the local folks. Not very busy when we were there, but they provided quick service.
