Eric Langham, manager, treated my wife and I and our friend Dan to excellent service and hospitality on our trip to Mississippi from Virginia to visit relatives. We were welcomed warmly and treated like the big jets. We recommend this stop to all pilots. It made us feel very welcome and at ease. Go visit.

From Kevin Torman on 25-Jun-2009
Stopped here coming and going for fuel...Great service, friendly staff, I'll plan this as a regular stop anytime I'm in the area. Drinks in the fridge and snacks in the lounge, tip jar on the table. Thanks for a pleasant stop.

From Bill Schmitz on 06-Jun-2009
This FBO is more like the home of a best friend. The friendliest most helpful people here. If I had eaten all the homemade cookies and pie I was offered, my plane would not have left the ground. Thanks, Eric!

From Steve Schoettle on 04-May-2009
Now this is how an FBO should be. Great service, great fuel prices, friendly people who are glad to see you. Wish our local FBO could visit and take a lesson. Came in late one night on the way to Sun and Fun. Eric had car waiting for us, with directions to wonderful small hotel in town, the Jameson Inn. Had a wonderful dinner at the Riverside Grill. On return trip, Ruda made wonderful sandwiches, and would not accept payment or tip. This will ALWAYS be my refueling stop on the way to Florida.

From David Hast on 28-Apr-2009
Stopped on the way to and from Sun 'N Fun, and I'm glad we did. Great service and hospitality, I wish we had an FBO like this around home. Thanks for lunch, the burger was great!

From Denis Doster on 26-Apr-2009
Dittos to all who have described this FBO as awesome and unbelievable! Stopped on the way back from Sun N Fun with a Grumman Tiger; Dan met us at the self-serve pump with a friendly smile and pumped the $3.15 gal 100LL. He also invited us to a lunch of burgers on the barbecue with all the fix'ns. I can't say enough about the hometown feel of the place, the great staff and Southern Hospitality. Even without lunch this is a stop worth making. If you are lucky, you'll meet some of the great local folks and staff we shared lunch with.

From Allen Kyzer on 19-Mar-2009
Great prices on Avgas. Full service with a smile! You can't help but to feel "at home" with such great southern hospitality. Keep up the good work, Eric! (N310LM) (Stevia transport).

From Dennis Cormier on 19-Oct-2008
What a fantastic airport. I flew in to check the place out since we drive through on the way to the beach from North Georgia. Eric was great. Came right out and fueled me up. Then when I told him I wanted to know more about the place he offered to take me to the state park in his personal car to show me the cabins on the lake. I will definitely be back to rent a car, stay at the cabins, and rent a boat, hike and fish. And, when I do Eric said he could put my plane in a hangar FOR FREE! Wow, try that at a larger airport.

From Ken Holston on 02-Jul-2008
We recently made a day trip to EUF. Everything previously said is true - it's an example of how a hometown-style FBO should be run. I even asked to use an open t-hangar for the day and Eric obliged at no charge. Thanks again for the fine service and warm hospitality - it makes a memorable impression.

ABSOLUTELY AWESOME! WOW! I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT! This small town FBO has, by far, the BEST fuel prices and service-with-a-smile within 100nm. Eric, Ruda and their beloved Newfoundland-'Mootsie', absolutely go out of their way to make your stop the most enjoyable event you could ever imagine. Fresh cookies baked daily along with fresh fruit, ice cream, popcorn, coffee, snacks and soft drinks are available to refresh any traveler during their stopover, and along with the cleanest facilities I've ever seen. Larger and geographically closer FBO's should take note of how an FBO should truly be managed, as the courteous folks who run this one really DO want your repeat business! Don't forget to visit the beautiful Southern mansions in town and see why they call it "Historic Eufaula." Local fare at some of the quaint restaurants downtown is exquisite. Whether you're on the way to Sun-n-Fun, a FL vacation or on a return trip, plan on making Eufaula one of your stops. A Cessna 150 driver thanks you!

From John Vargo on 01-Jul-2008
I've been to Eufaula a number of times but this past weekend really was above no other. After weather set in I was unable to get out. Eric said I could stay at the FBO for the night and leave in the morning. His hospitality is above all. He and his lovely wife will do anything possible to make your stay as comfortable and joyous as they can. My hats off to you both. Do yourself a favor and stop at Eufaula just to experience of a wonderful hometown FBO. The way all FBO's should be run.

From Jack Wright on 29-Jun-2008
I have flown into hundreds of FBO's over the years and this one is by far the nicest one hands down...Eric (the owner) meets you when you taxi in. He treats you like family.... He keeps the fuel prices surprisingly low...Since I found EUF I go out of my way to try and make it a refueling stop.

From Charles Myers on 14-Jun-2008
This is by far the best FBO I've visited! The hospitality is fantastic and the service second to none. The fuel prices are good and if you are planning this FBO is worth going out of your way. You'll enjoy the stop, Eric, and Mootsie, the largest dog I've ever seen!

From Matt Hinkle on 28-Mar-2008
The FBO @ KEUF is awesome. I fly about 300 hours per year and this is some of the best service I get (not mention the good price on fuel). Great airport/ran by people who appreciate you stopping no matter what you fly. Great stop on the way to Florida!!!

From Steve Wright on 18-Mar-2008
In two words, THE BEST! Stopped in Eufaula on the way from Ft. Lauderdale to Illinois. Eric and crew simply could not have been more accommodating and hospitable. We make this trip 3 or 4 times a year and will never miss Eufaula going both ways. Great job and good luck in a tough business.

From C. Wright on 01-Mar-2008
*Excellent* service, and super nice people! Highly recommended.

From Paul Platt on 10-Feb-2008
I have never felt guilty about not buying gas until today. After landing, a voice on CTAF told me to park right in front of the FBO and to act like I owned the place. I didn't need any gas but the people at EUF bent over backwards anyway. Everyone was super nice including over at the restaurant. My son and I played chess and checkers on a board at the FBO. He hated to leave. I'll be back with tanks that need some fuel.

From Mike Ballard on 19-Nov-2007
Stopped in today, 19 Nov, and this FBO is as good as it gets for both corporate and general aviation! Gas prices low, amenities superb, friendliness, wonderful dog greeter, and Eric and Ruda are the best. If you travel any where close to Eufaula this is a must stop! Have done this stop several times in both experimental and corporate and service is the same.

From Dale Snyder on 15-Oct-2007
Flew in yesterday with my wife, said hello to Eric (who greeted us on the CTAF) and Mootsie, went next door for Sunday buffet lunch & toured the town. What a great stop! Thanks to everyone & will return again.

From Paul Hopgood on 05-Sep-2007
I got a call from a friend who said the FBO has a new owner and Eric has already got himself in trouble, She (Ruda, Eric's Wife) told him get off the couch and get to work. LOL Congrats to Eric and Ruda, the new owners. Great news for the rest of us.

From Wayne Reynolds on 21-Aug-2007
Excellent FBO to stop at. Eric is very helpful, and the amenities are great. A definite thumbs up.

From Amelia Reiheld on 05-Aug-2007
"Watch out for the exuberant dog, " we were warned. Having just left an airport with a too-lovable Lab, we were braced for an onslaught of canine appreciation. We gingerly opened the door, to see one enormous bear rug of a Newfie, who barely managed a twitch of her tail. It was 95 degrees out there, and she was exhausted merely contemplating summer in Southern Alabama. A fuel stop in Eufaula is a great idea. Super-nice people, excellent service, and fuel prices that haven't been seen in Mobile, Pensacola, and Gulf Shores in years. All that, and free soft drinks, ice cream, cookies, and the like, too. I'll stop again and fill 'er up, next time I'm on my way to the Gulf Coast.

From John Vargo - Panama City, Fl. on 28-Jul-2007
Eric, I just wanted to make a post here and comment about the great service and professionalism we received when on our way to Clinton, IA. Also wanted to thank you for the use of the club car when we stopped there on the way back. It's FBO's like yours that make me want to return time after time. Thanks again.

From Lawrence Calder on 18-Jul-2007
Repeating earlier comments, I enjoyed excellent service from Eric. I was fueled (at SS price) while using their courtesy car, and was hangared awaiting my return (due to pending storm). Clean bathrooms. Would return here and while the closest restaurant (LA BBQ) was good, I'd go to River Grille (??) in town next time.

From Tom Lawson on 10-Jun-2007
We made a quick fuel stop. Lineman was waiting as we pulled up to the fuel station and fueled the plane for us. Fresh fruit and cookies provided at no charge. Nice clean facilities with low fuel prices. All around a winning combination!

From Jake Mong on 30-May-2007
Visit 29 May 07. Flew in with my 5 year old daughter, and had a truly great experience. Eric took good care of us and the other people that was there were also very friendly. Mootsie was a sweetheart and my daughter had a great time. Worth the stop, fly in and see for yourself.

From Johnston, William on 05-Apr-2007
Best service ever!!! I’ll be back for sure.

From Joel Lehrke on 31-Mar-2007
Awesome service. Lineman was waiting as we taxied up. Restaurant on the field was closed when we arrived, so they tossed us the keys to the airport car and went about 3 minutes down the road to some Fantastic BBQ that they recommended. They have wireless, but you need the code, which they will give you. Candies and cookies for my passengers. Great big pilot lounge with TV and movies Best Fuel price around

From Chip Gibbons on 29-Mar-2007
GREAT stop! Eric was great and the fuel price was excellent. The restaurant was closed (on Saturday??) so we took the crew car to a nice little place downtown called "Under the Boardwalk". Good burgers and shakes. Mootsie, the Newfoundland, is a huge dog and my family enjoyed loving on her almost as much as she enjoyed the attention. I'm sorry we didn't get the lady's name that also worked there, but she was equally friendly and we enjoyed our conversation with her. I will make it a point to stop here again.

From Mark Parmley on 21-Mar-2007
We stopped on the way to FLA just because of the comments in this section. OUTSTANDING! Best service and friendliest people I've met at an FBO in a long time. They pumped my fuel ($2.95 on Sun.) while we went to the local restaurant. Even gave us drinks for the road at no charge! And that DOG. WOW. I wish they were all like this.

From Roy Rudolph on 26-Feb-2007
I try to stop here for fuel when I'm in the neighborhood. Folks are very nice and the place is clean. I've never seen a dog as big as that black one. I'd rather pay for plane fuel than try to keep that doggy fed.

From Richard Lane on 05-Feb-2007
Based on the reviews we read here we decided to give Eufaula a try. Wife and I were in on a Friday (1-26-07) to enjoy a great flying day and eat some lunch. We taxied up to the pump and as I got ready to get fuel Eric came walking up and said he would take care of fueling and my Maule. Very nice guy. We walked through the terminal and had lunch at the restaurant. Very good with excellent corn bread! Nice clean FBO and we enjoyed our short stay. Wife was disappointed we missed seeing the huge dog!!

From Kenneth Andrew on 22-Jan-2007
Eufaula is a great little airport, I had aleady had lunch so just looked in the restaurant, the smell was enough to make me go back. Eric who runs the FBO is great. The fuel price on Sunday (1-21-07) was $2.95 Sunday special. I will be back on a regular basis for food and fuel.

From Ken Andrew, N377SB Rockwell Commander on 21-Jan-2007
Hi aall, What a great airport. Went in today and 100LL was $2.95, my kind of place. Great place to eat right there. They have Sunday specials, I Will be back when I need more fuel. I intend to make it my fueling place. Eric was there, to assist. Great place to fuel up and eat. Thanks.

From Mark Kaufman on 03-Jan-2007
Recently completed my 250nm requirement for my fixed wing instrument rating with a stop at Weedon Field. I emailed Eric a few days prior in reference to fuel price matching to my home base (as that is what the school would reimburse me for) and had a reply from Eric in less than an hour. Eric said they would price match my home field and also let me know their fuel price on Sundays is great! My instructor and I didn't get a chance to meet Eric in person, as he was assisting a plane owner in getting his airplane started. I cannot remember the guy’s name that serviced our plane, but he was very friendly and extremely helpful. Didn't get to meet the dog, but hope to in the future. Thanks for the great service!

From Mark Anderson on 02-Jan-2007
What a great place to stop! As the halfway point for our trip to Disney World, EUF attracted me because of its low fuel price. I will be back because of the great service and the BEST southern cooking at the next-door restaurant I've every had away from home. Rushton Air is top notch!

From Ken Green on 27-Dec-2006
Eric and his lovely wife are very accommodating folks at a very clean FBO. Met the big dog and was told the following tale: The dog is large and black in color like an Angus cow with the same white chest marking. Eric's wife told us that the dog was barking at the Angus cows at their house. The cows lined up along the fence with their heads twisted to one side to see the strange Angus calf on the wrong side of the fence and with a severe canine accent. Eufaula is a great little town on the lake and the airport is easy to use. We are glad to have met Eric and his wife and plan to see them again.

From Ron Roberts on 24-Dec-2006
WOW...! What a great place with friendly folks and good fuel prices. Eric knows how to run an FBO. I only wish it were mine.:-( Call ahead on Sundays and check out the fuel discounts. All the comments below are true. Enjoy country food and don't miss the old houses downtown.
