Check NOTAMS. Runway 4-22 is closed for reconstruction. Runway 16-34 also closed. Runway 6-24 3300x50 dirt surface has been graded and rolled, reported to be in good condition. Expected to be late summer before rebuilt 4-22 is reopened.

Nice small-town Wyoming airport. AirNav reports runway surface in "poor condition" but I think it's better than that. It's at least fair, if not good. Self-serve fuel worked fine, but I didn't get a receipt. It says you have to put your card back into the reader after you're finished fueling to get the receipt, but it didn't work for me. Not a big deal, though. I had read the numbers off the pump before turning it off.

Small town airport, but service was good and I am told that these guys are great if you have a problem. Fuel was available and self serve worked fine. Call ahead and your stop will be great.

Until things change at this airport, I would do what I could to avoid it. NOTAMs are not kept up to date. Casper Flight service reported beacon out, but it works, you just wish it didn't. The beacon is too near the southeast approach end so blasts you in the eyes while on a night final for 22. Lounge has an overpowering smell of mice. Lighting was out (probably bulbs) at both the 100LL pump and in the restroom. I did get self serve fuel, but no ink in the printer.

I landed at dusk to refuel, but couldn't get the self-service pump to work; it kept saying that it "was busy" or something to that effect. Luckily, I still had enough fuel to make it to RKS. My wife was thankful that the little terminal shack (and its bathroom) was left unlocked - a sign of good ol' Wyoming hospitality. Oh yes, the runway lights didn't come on with 5 clicks; it took 7 clicks to get any lights at all.
