Home Base. Construction appears to have wrapped up. Taxi Ways are stripped, barriers are removed and locations where lights will be placed are marked. Taxi instructions can still be confusing. Even for the locals. If confused write it down and/or ask for Progressive Taxi.

Home Base for me. Returned from vacation, it is now October and not much change in the north end construction. There are also still tire barriers near the Terminal fuel pumps. There is plenty of room to taxi but don't get distracted by the barriers. Pipe and a standing ladder surround the pumps. The taxi instructions can be a hodge-podge of turns. If confused ask for progressive taxi. Check NOTAMS. Most areas are not striped yet.

Home Base. Still lots of construction and temporary markings. Hurricane Harvey gave us about five inches of rain. There are more delays in completion. Check NOTAMS.

Home base for me. Most construction is nearing completion. New Taxiway is paved but they are still working on and around it with heavy equipment. New Fuel Pumps are in and working with above ground tanks. Old pumps and tanks are being removed. Some tiedown’s have been removed or relocated on the ramp. Terminal vehicle parking is repaved but not marked. New vehicle parking near the Tower is still road base material but can be used. This large construction project is supposed to be completed this summer. Then contractors will start resealing and repaving areas around the airport. Check Notams for closures of Taxi Ways and Runways for many moons to come.

Homebase for me. Lots of construction. Changes in Taxiways, Intersections and Self Fueling over the next year. Ask for progressive taxi if confused. Our terminal is small but nice. New manager is doing a good job of keeping the Empire as nice as possible, considering the construction. Courtesy cars for intown only. Plenty of Restaurants. Some historic value downtown, 3 miles. Enterprise has cars about 10 minutes away. Plenty of chain hotels now days. New hotel at the convention center on the river. Big Box stores and Strip Malls abound.

Both pumps working again, but not the fastest of pumps. Receipt takes 90 seconds to print once shut off.

OUTSTANDING fuel prices. Crew car available to run into town for great meals. Friendly tower staff. Make this a destination.
