Stop by for fuel on November 6th. Got full service on the self-service pump. Everyone was welcoming and friendly. Nice people and cheap fuel! Highly recommended as a fuel stop.

On Sept 21st I stopped for fuel because it was the cheapest fuel around. Harry met me at the fuel pump and offered to fuel me while I "took care" of business. Due to bad weather, I decided to spend the night. When Harry found out I would be spending the night, he insisted on hangaring my plane, called the local bed & breakfast to get me a reservation and brought the airport car around to the front of the hangar for me to use. I love that "small town" hospitality. Thanks to Harry, a less than desirable situation became a very pleasant stay!

When we stopped there was no one around; but, the pump system is easy to figure out and the office was open with cold drinks and clean bathrooms. When in the area, I highly recommend Hugoton for a fuel stop.

I stopped at the airport on Monday August 3rd and had some maintenance problem and Mr. Bartel was very helpful. He pulled my airplane into the maintenance hangar out of the heat and helped me take off the cowling. I have never been to an airport with more friendly people.

Harry works hard to keep his customers happy! We made a stop as we headed south on a Cross Country, and we called ahead to let Harry know that we would be in late! Harry said, "He would leave the lights on" for us. He even took the time to run into town to get us some food, and it was there waiting when we arrived. We stopped on our way back north, and once again the service and friendly manner of Harry was outstanding! This stop is highly recommended to anyone in the area! Two thumbs up for Harry and Hugoton!

Flew in on 10/29/08 to pick up a friend for flight back to Texas. Harry let us use the car to eat in town while he fueled our plane. He gave us a generous discount on fuel when I showed my AirBoss card, and invited us to the local pheasant hunting party on Friday, as we were returning for the weekend opening of hunting season. Harry and his wife were very friendly folks. I will definitely plan stops at this airport in the future if I'm passing any where near western Kansas.

Flew in on Sept.18 in our Cherokee 180. Harry had been cutting the grass. Met us promptly and fueled us. Extremely nice gentleman. Let us use the airport car for overnight. Would have stopped back by but changed our route. Recommend this stop highly.

Harry is a great guy and is happy to fill your plane up day or night. He really makes an effort to keep fuel costs low and his price reflects that. I'll gladly stop by again when I'm in the neighborhood.

A perfect fuel stop when traveling between Kansas City and Albuquerque. These guys signed up with a new fuel supplier, and ever since, their prices for 100LL have been great! And, thanks to the staff, I learned that I will get a discount if I get a Chevron/Texaco card. So you can bet I'll do that.

I stopped by on Jan 25, 2008 during a cross country to build time for my commercial rating. Harry came out to my 172 quickly, offered a courtesy car and gave directions to several places to eat. Fuel was at a good price. Make sure you ask him about his non-FAA wind reporting system if you stop in. Thanks a ton Harry!
