Great Airport and support. Rick was wonderful and extremely helpful. Called in advance to check on the hangar space for an extended stay. Rick made all the arrangements and met us when we arrived. The use of a rental van for the 6 days, hangar space, and SS fuel was outstanding. We had a great bicycle trip in the Black Hills area. Without Rick's help, the transportation and Aircraft protection issues would have been exceedingly difficult. I highly recommend this airport for your travel needs. Thanks, Rick for helping to make this visit memorable.

Two thumbs up, 10 out of 10. Rick is an extremely helpful airport manager. He helped me with an engine start that I couldn't get started after it had a fresh annual. Two courtesy cars. Good fuel price. Enter lobby with airport frequency, facility has all you need.

Rick met me at the airport and helped with fueling the airplane. He also offered a courtesy car to run into Hot Springs for lunch. Very friendly and helpful. Wish all small airports were this accommodating. Highly recommend.

We stopped recently just before a six inch snowstorm. Rick was extremely helpful in managing our stay, including providing a courtesy car, list of motels, restaurants, and a heated hangar. Great fuel prices. Wonderful place to stop! Can't say enough about how good this facility is!

Looking for a stop on my way from Alaska to Texas. The grass strip at KHSR offered less wear on tundra tires than pavement. Rick offered hangar space and a car to let me enjoy Wind Cave National Park while I waited for the weather to improve. He also recommended a good motel, food, and the best ice cream I've had in a long time. I wish I could have stayed longer so I will definitely stop there again on my next trip.

Only attended M-F but contact Rick to make arrangements for the one of courtesy cars. Free if used for less than 4 hrs. $50 for overnight. Rick available by phone and text after hours. Fuel is 24 hr SS. 24 access to terminal. My go to stop when passing through the area. Overnight hangar available too. Can't say enough good things about this small airport.

KHSR was on the way home from a month flying trip to Alaska and back. Couldn't end this trip. Our afternoon and overnight in Hot Springs was an awesome day. Rick B. met us by the tie downs to welcome us to the community. Best grass strip you've ever landed on! Courtesy car, 411 about things in Hot Springs, tenting on the soft grass by the FBO. Couldn't get any better here!!

At weekend landing after hours, I chocked the wheels, looked at the clouds and decided that was good enough. That evening a huge wind gust preceding a passing rain cloud seemed strong enough to damage my Cherokee. Early next morning I discovered the manager had chained my plane safely and securely. He did not know I had landed or that my plane was the plane parked on the ramp. I cannot say "Thank you" enough!
