Flew in to HWO on my way to Key West for a fuel stop. I was assured after calling ahead, someone would be available for full service fuel. The person on the phone said there would be no problem. Not only was there no one available full service refueling, the one restroom (outside & around the side of bldg) was littered with toilet paper, and lacking soap & paper towels. I've been flying for 26 years, and have never seen an "FBO" like this one. It's a room with a vending machine, water fountain, and bathroom, which runs a close second to a port-o-john.

Hollywood Aviation is the only real FBO on the field, I am in and out of their two to three times a week, they have very reasonable fuel prices, is easy to access and very clean, staff is very friendly and the owner is very knowledgeable of aviation and the area. Call ahead for the best service.

My wife's "hair issues" required a quick trip to the FLL area. Decided to go to North Perry to avoid the traffic at KFLL...BIG MISTAKE! In 18 years of flying, I can honestly say this was the worst FBO ever. Actually, I wouldn't even call them a FBO. Called ahead to "make sure" my rental car would be there. Later, in-flight, no one answer UNICOM freq. No one showed up to help us park...And, of course, no car rental was available. After wasting over 1 hour, eventually I was able to get a car and move on. AVOID this place if possible; if not, good luck!

First time flying into HWO for our company. Proceeded to Hollywood Aviation ramp to find no parking available. After shutting down on an entry taxiway to let off pax, was told we are not allowed there due to the size of the aircraft. Inside there are NO services, and the personnel are none too friendly. Moved company preference across the field to Air Superior (far superior, more ramp space, but still no Jet A nor basic services).

3/4/07. Stopped in at North Perry and tied down at Hollywood Aviation for 5 nights ($10/night and not waived with fuel purchase - I actually bought over $350.00 worth of Avgas). The facilities are Spartan at best and the fuel prices are not guaranteed or updated on AirNav. However, the field is very convenient for me, the airport tower personnel are very friendly, and the service offered at Hollywood Aviation meet the basic needs - they work 9-5 sharp so called ahead to make arrangements. Although I have mainly stopped at Banyan - KFXE previously, this airport is more convenient and I will probably fly in here more frequently. Tie-downs are limited; you may want to bring your own tie-downs and airplane covers, etc.

We tied down at Hollywood Aviation last weekend. Tie down spaces are 10$ a night, but the number is limited, so call ahead. There are two fuel self-service prices; the cheaper cash price is only available when the office is open. The credit price is available SS any time. Great airport, close to MIA, FLL, both fuel and rental cars will cost you less here than most other places. Nice people, good service, we will be back.

Hollywood Aviation is the only real FBO on the field, has the least expensive fuel, is easy to access, and usually has someone manning the desk. Call ahead for the best service.

I met the owner as I was refueling for my trip home. He was very friendly and very generous in sharing local information.

I was supposed to fly in to HWO on the day before Thanksgiving, but a recalcitrant fuel pump kept me grounded until Thanksgiving Day. I made arrangements with Hollywood Aviation for a rental car through Hertz, but since I was arriving on a holiday, Hertz wanted me to wait until Friday to get the vehicle. Pat at Hollywood Aviation gave me her cell phone number and had the vehicle delivered to Hollywood Aviation the Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Additionally, she kept a tie down space open for me, so that when I landed, I just had to "park and call." When I landed Thanksgiving Day, I called her and she brought the keys to me. This sort of customer service is clearly above and beyond the call of duty. As a bonus, the owner was there, so he opened his facilities for us, which gave my wife and children a place to relax while I gave the plane a once over, buttoned it up and loaded the car. All in all, they could not have done more and we will definitely use them again.
