I had a good experience at this FBO, they worked to get my rental car straightened out (Enterprise screw-up) and the plane was fueled as requested and quickly. By the way the "other" FBO does not allow comments, what are they trying to hide? I didn't take a chance and came here, and I am glad that I did.

Stopped in our 310 for fuel the other day. Fuel prices were lower than posted which was a great surprise. People were very friendly. The girl at the desk was gorgeous...Wish I had shaved. All in all a beautiful FBO and great service by the crew there.

Fuel price with taxes was $3.07 not as advertised. Other stops I make include the taxes on their prices.

Response from Stephen Graham, Line Person, Aircraft Specialists
Fuel prices at ASI include taxes. I am not for sure what advertised priced you received and from what source.

Stopped to visit relatives in the area. We arrived in the rain, but were met by a line person who was very helpful. Later that evening, with a fast moving front pushing through, I called them to request that they put the plane in a hangar. All at no charge other than the fuel! Great place and people. It's my stop when there from now on.

Very nice, open 24-7. You might want to check with the Airport Authority on the landing fee. I have heard conflicting stories, I know if you are based there that there is no landing fee. Another source told me that it was based on Max Gross Weight. Over 6000 LBS = Landing fee

Response from Ryan Khuri, Aircraft Specialists
I work at ASI and I'd like to clear up the issue of landing fees in regard to our airport. We charge no landing fee for aircraft under six thousand pounds, and the prices go up progressively as weight increases. If the flight is an Angel flight, a student flight, or a costumer coming in for maintenance, the FBO is not required to charge a landing fee. I hope this helps clear up any questions about the fees, but if not, feel free to call and somebody working can provide further details.

Stopped by to top off and check weather on our way to Arkansas on Friday, and on our way back to New York on Sunday. Service was excellent and the line guys had us fueled in under 5 minutes. Top notch service, would definitely prefer stopping here over any other airport in the area in the future.

It looks as though their will be a $25.00 landing fee starting July 1, 2008. I would suggest going to Bowman Field (LOU) in Louisville, KY.

After weighing the comments for SDF and LOU, we elected to fly in to JVY for the annual Thunder Over Louisville event. Very pleased with our choice. Two linemen were standing ready at our Skylane with the fuel truck before I could even get shut down. They quickly fueled us while I retrieved the waiting rental car that Rachel had arranged. Line staff then assisted us with transferring our luggage to the rental car before moving the plane over to a convenient tie down where they secured it for the night. We appreciated but declined the reasonable offer of a $15 overnight hangar. A simple 10-minute drive had us in downtown Louisville. Same friendly faces were around to handle our fuel bill and car return as we departed the next day. Easy departure with on-field IFR clearance frequency. Highly recommend this airport and FBO.

Great service! I'm not sure about the other FBO on the field but I would highly recommend these guys. We arrived around 10:30, they were happy to provide us with a courtesy car so we could get to our meeting in Jeffersonville. As we were leaving, doing our run up, I had a fouled plug that I couldn't get cleaned up. Doug and Lou made sure we were taken care of. They loaned me the tools to remove the bottom plugs and got them cleaned up for me. It was just like being at my home field, I'll be back.
