Called ahead for a late dusk arrival on 7/30/09 (RV6 going home from OSH). Was informed that the lights work now, and the gentleman I talked to offered to leave the keys in the crew car for us; "use the key serrated side up, and don't lock the doors"... Great place to visit; special low gas price for OSH. Bring your own rope for tie-down.

We stopped on our way to OSH and had a great experience. They were running a special on fuel for $2.79 and it was very busy, with 3 planes in line when we arrived. The folks were outstanding and friendly, and they were having a Young Eagles event with burgers and BBQ. Great stop.

Very accommodating airport. Airport manager out to greet EAA'ers on the way to OSH. Super quick service at the posted price on AirNav.Com. I will surely stop again.

Great deal on fuel! 2.79 special for EAA members! Saturday breakfast and lunch on the airport. Ice available on the ramp too. Great ramp staff. An excellent stop! Open 7-7 this week. All runways and new taxiway open, no lights operating yet.

I visited MBY on August 19th and September 1st. This is a nice airport. Fuel is full service only and there is a fee for after hours fueling. The gentleman who fueled me was pleasant. I was offered the courtesy car to go to the local hotel. Instead I camped on the field with permission. There was no computer for flight planning. Fuel prices were very good. MBY is a good stop for fueling during regular hours.

Fuel Price is great. Friendly helpful staff. Courtesy car available and restaurants 5 min. Away. Flight planning computer was down, IMC day, so went to the nearby Holiday Inn Express, explained my situation and they were kind enough to let me use their computer.

Stopped twice in the last two weeks. Best fuel price I've seen yet. Friendly, prompt service. Uncrowded airfield. We sat outside the FBO and ate the lunch we brought with us. Very nice stop. We'll be sure and stop again on our next trip through.

Well, nothing special about this place. The amenities are far and few between. However, they have a crew car, cheap fuel, no landing/ramp fee, and everybody is friendly. I will take that over all the other stuff anytime. Hours are 8-5, but they let us stay in the A/C until our passengers showed up.

I concur - but I would add cheapest gas from Oregon to Oklahoma. I have stopped here three times in three years. Always-great service. Might want to call ahead if landing at off times - part time employees. I got delayed for a few hours due to thunderstorms on my route of flight and they gave me the airport station wagon for me to load the kids into and we spent all day at the city pool and park. I'll be back!!
