Flew from South Dayton (NY27) to St Mary's last week for lunch at the airport restaurant. Food was excellent. If you plan to refuel and eat, head up to the restaurant and ask for the fuel card. You will get a 5% discount when purchasing both fuel and food. A great little airport.

Took the short flight from Clearfield to OYM to check out the Silver Wing. As good as advertised.... 2 plates of ribs (which included bread and salad), a coffee, and soda for $25! We'll certainly be back....

WOW, I love the Silver Wing restaurant. Today 6/7/2009 was my 4th fly-in visit over several months. The food is great, at reasonable prices, the staff congenial, and the deck overlooking the runway produces a pleasant, relaxing experience. Highly recommended, but note the limited hours.

Just flew to OYM for my second Silver Wing's Restaurant omelet. All at our table had delicious food. We once again got to enjoy their dining on the deck overlooking runway 10/28. Friendly staff, great food, clean new establishment and fair prices, you can only go wrong by not stopping there.

Great! Restaurant right on the field! Food & prices were way better than almost anywhere I've been! 100LL was very cheap, too, and I got 5% off its already low price by eating at the restaurant. (Told you it was good!)

We visited the on-field restaurant, Silver Wing, on March 15 2009. The food was terrific, prices reasonable, and the restaurant facility itself brand new. Highly recommended.

Flew in yesterday for Lunch since we have been hearing rave reviews about the new restaurant. We arrived at 2:10 and the restaurant closes at 2PM on Sundays. They went out of their way to still serve us!! Great food and service. Thank you Didi and management. We will definitely recommend you.

Nice airport with helpful staff. I don't believe they have full service however as I saw no fuel truck. I pulled up to the obvious pump, and then the staff filled my tanks from the pump. I was told they are applying for a grant to get self-serve credit card equipment. There is a restaurant now open on the field. Forgot to check their hours and didn't eat there as I was passing through. I did find that Cleveland center was occasionally difficult to hear around this airport. You'd best get your clearance on the ground, which worked well, rather than take off in difficult conditions and trying to get clearance through a less than clear ATC connection. Oh, note the FBO (and thus non-resident fueling) is closed on weekends. When I came by on a Sunday, the staff just happened to be around and served me anyway. Nice people!
