For free tiedowns there is a field behind the hangers just west of the self-serve fuel tanks. If you don't like to use chains on your plane then bring your own rope. If you need information about Rapid City see Jerry inside the front hangar. Great guy to talk with and very helpful. If you walk north to the next building you will find the pilots lounge/computer/pool table etc. For your use. No airport car so you will have to rent one up at the main terminal.

Great fuel station very easy to find and run. Called ahead and the folks at Rapid Fuel are very helpful. Free parking a little tough to find but that was due to tall grass. Good fuel price and nice folks, I will see you again. Thank You.

Great fueling facility as indicated in 2 previous comments. Only help would be to bring tie down clips for tie down chains. Thanks rapid fuel...

Nice self-serve facility on the north GA ramp. Great prices! Equipment is brand new/receipts print/ladders available. Free tie-down area nearby to the south behind a yellow hangar adjacent to a giant blue hangar. There is a "quasi-FBO" in the bldg with the deck (attended M-F 9am-5pm). Services consist of WX computer, restrooms, phone etc. Don't get locked out on the parking lot side after hours! Be advised that currently the attendant there cannot help you refuel, perform tie-down service, or hangar your aircraft (separate owners for pump/bldg). He will help you with a rental car/questions/doughnuts/etc and is quite friendly.

This is a new facility and it is A+ !!! Great prices and excellent service as well - Like the idea of everything being so "self-service" oriented. Quick & efficient.
