Welcome to the ORIGINAL JET CENTER, with MOUNTAINS OF HANGAR SPACE. Sitting in the Sangre de Cristo foothills, Santa Fe is known for its Pueblo-style architecture and as a creative arts center. This town was originally founded as a Spanish colony in 1610. The heart of Santa Fe lies at the traditional Plaza. The nearby historic district's crooked streets wind past adobe landmarks such as the Palace of the Governors which has transformed into the New Mexico History Museum. Your Signature Santa Fe will be expecting you in high elevation city.

From Steve Stucky on 25-Jun-2021

Arrived at Signature Jun 2021 Lineman had only one wheel chock that would fit under wheel fairings. He jammed that in, asked if I had hooks for tiedown chains. Fortunately I had "hooks" and wheel chocks that actually fit. Told lineman to fill right wing. He left. I waited for him to return but he did not. Less than 24 hours later I returned to Signature and was presented with the following bill: Handling Charge = $53.13 Infrastructure Fee = $ 5.42 Ramp Overnight = $11.04 Avgas = $55.58 Total = $125.17 that is a total of $125.17 for 9.6 gallons of gas. I will never darken their ramp again.

Response from Mario Marilla, General Manager at SAF
Mr. Stucky, I understand there may have been some confusion or miscommunication on your pricing during your stay. Please feel free to contact me at any time to discuss. Thank you.

I just had a follow up talk with the GM, Mario, and he is going to credit $75 to my visa for the mix-up on the hangar fee. Nice to see a manager taking responsibility and making right an unfair charge. Thanks Mario.

From Jeff Bradshaw on 20-Jan-2021

Got a quote for an overnight in the heated hangar for $49 before leaving my home airport, confirmed my arrival and the availability and price for the hangar at my last fuel stop, confirmed the price of $49 at Signature BEFORE they put my plane in the hangar ... Next morning got a bill for $141. I disputed this charge with my CC and they would not honor the disputed amount despite my explaining the 3 confirmations by their staff for the overnight hangar fee of $49. I would avoid using Signature at Santa Fe ... Like the Plague.

Response from Mario Murillo, General Manager, Signature Flight Support
Mr. Bradshaw, please allow me to offer my apologies behalf of the Signature Flight Support Team here at Santa Fe. As the General Manager at SAF I would be more than happy to discuss and rectify the situation. Please feel free to contact the FBO at any time.   Joe was more than accommodating for my quick stop in. Got me a hangar for the evening on short notice and came in early to get me out at my planned departure. Thanks!

Signature has a real gem in Joe Gamez. During the last week in October, with early winter weather in the area and unusually low temps, Joe responded quickly to every request. Hangar, preheat, fuel for a predawn departure on a 17-degree morning? No problem. Line service was fantastic, Kelly at the front desk was awesome. Great experience. Thanks all.

From Paul Fox on 03-Dec-2019

Arrived unexpectedly after diverting from Taos where the runways were iced over and landing was unsafe. Signature Santa Fe marshaled us in after an icy blowing crosswind landing and helped us get a rental car with no reservation. Put our aircraft in a heated hangar overnight to avoid the subfreezing temperatures. Pulled us out the next day upon our return and the warm plane started flawlessly. Thanks to Casey and all the line guys/gals for their helpfulness for a drop in. Not to mention, the great coffee latte machine warmed the passengers' insides. Cool skeleton art on the walls by a local artist in style of Dia de Muertos. Weekend fuel discount so very appreciated.

From Robert Snip on 27-Jul-2019

Beware! I flew my C210 into KSAF for an overnight in Santa Fe. Tied down on the ramp @ Signature, and I did not need fuel or services. The next morning they attempted to charge me $63.26! This was $8, 00 for the tie down plus $49.00 for a "handling charge" plus $5.00 for an "infrastructure charge." I have flown into KSAF off and on for 30 years, and these arbitrary surcharges were a complete surprise. When I protested, I was only then informed that if I purchased fuel (not self fill) minimum of 10 gallons the "handling fee" would be waived. I did so at the $5.79/gal line service rate. This is nothing more than a shake down to force purchase of fuel or services. There was no "handling" to warrant any fee.

From Marv Wessel on 19-May-2019

Normally great service at this FBO. Everything seemed fine on this visit too except they were having issues with the computer and told me they would email my receipt for fuel. They topped my Lancair ES with 100 LL and I left. When I read my email the next day I found that I was charged a $50 handling fee. I just called to question the charge and was told I would have to talk to the manager to dispute charges and that all Signature customers are charged a handling fee!

Response from Joe Gamez, GM, Signature Flight Support
Marv, thanks for taking the time to speak with me today. Again, our apologies for the technical error in our point of sale system not backing out your handling charge. We strive for 100% customer satisfaction and are disappointed we missed that target during your recent visit. Your invoice has been corrected to reflect your fuel discount, and your handling charge has been waived accordingly. On behalf of the entire staff here, we look forward to seeing you in Santa Fe again in the near future.
