Two displaced railroad employees/engineers were pumping my fuel, and were very nice. The airport is a must see for any pilot. Having this museum available to taxi right up to is an aviation enthusiast’s dream. Great cafe...Even bought a jacket. Just standing in that Airship hangar is entertainment enough. Amazing.

WONDERFUL PEOPLE, WONDERFUL AIRPORT. Arrived in minimum IFR and was greeted by happy people. Then had spark plug problems, which was helped by ALL! The lead mechanic at the Air Museum stole two plugs from his own plane to get me running again! Warren the airport manager is a GEM! The local pilots are happy to help you flying VFR for a coast flight. Wishing I lived in the area and this was my primary airport! There are not enough good words to say for all the kind caring folks you'll meet at KTMK!

Very friendly and helpful folks at the FBO when I came to TMK for a day of seeing the local area with friends. Recommendations for a day tour include the Tillamook Cheese factory north of downtown, the lighthouse and coastal scenery at Cape Meares, and the Air Museum (can't miss the sign!) at the other side of the field from the FBO. Cafe at the museum is open daily 10am-4pm. Self-serve 100LL and Jet A available next to the airport office.
