Nice stop. Food is good and reasonably priced. SS fuel is tricky to use. Fortunately there was someone in the hangar to explain it. Unless they change the program--- when you go through the credit card entry you are asked which pump and given two choices, "A" for pump 1 and "B" for pump 2. The only choice that worked for 100LL was to select one not listed, "D". Then it comes up with a choice to select "A" for 100LL. So, the trick is to select D, then A for 100LL. No service for AT&T cellphone. I don't know if other cellphone services work there. There is a payphone outside the restaurant so, if IFR and you can't depart VFR, you can call for a clearance that way.

Great little airport out in the middle of farm country. Great self serve fuel price although getting the fuel pump turned on can be an adventure. The restaurant on the field is worth the stop. We arrived just before closing and they happily agreed to stay open until we were fed.

Had pie going to Oshkosh and couldn't resist stopping by on our way home to Maryland for more pie! The restaurant service was friendly and the fuel price wasn't too bad, either.

Stopped in to Carroll County Airport on our way home from Iowa and Oshkosh. Fuel prices cannot be beat. It was worth heading a little out of the way on our trip back to NH. On-site restaurant is delicious and the pies are definitely worth the flight!

Stopped by for fuel a couple times, great little restaurant on the field, good self-serve gas prices. Will be back!

I'm a semi-regular customer at Carroll County. Haven't been disappointed yet. The servers are among the politest I've ever met (say hi to Amber!); the food is good; prices good; fuel easy to get to, to pump and a good price. I recommend this stop no matter what directions you're headed......

Stopped here for breakfast and gas-up and very glad I did. The food was good and service was nice. The restaurant walls are covered with pictures of prior visitors - spend a few minutes looking at them. Self-serve was easy in-easy out.

TSO is a gem; Granny’s kitchen serves up a great breakfast. Their homemade pies are tasty, if I bring my CFII here for my Bi-annual and buy him the pie, he doesn’t charge me. Will keep coming back.

Carrollton is an excellent airport for that $100 hamburger. Though at Granny’s (on the field) you will probably opt for one of their homemade specials. It's really cool watching the waitress give airport advisory in between serving up wonderful food. You may also want to take the 5-minute hike thru the woods to the Bluebird Restaurant. Open Tues - Sun from 11-4pm for lunch only. The ladies will love you for this place. Besides the fine and very affordable food, they have a museum and gift store (restored pre-civil war barn) nestled in the green woods. I'm sure this will become of your favorites if you're a local in NE Ohio.
