We flew in on our 3 gyroplanes, right into the middle of a warbirds formation training day. We were still able to fuel up quickly and easily with their SS pumps, use the bathrooms and check out all the cool airplanes. They have a small cafe on the field (Pyper Cub) but we did not have time to try it out. The staff we encountered was helpful and friendly. It looks like they are renovating or modifying their FBO. They have 2 intersecting runways, nice large tarmac, and the fueling area is off to side but well marked. We will plan to stop here again if we are in the area.

Great runways. Self service fuel system worked great. Self service is located behind and southwest of the FBO.

Landed the Citabria on 36, the grass needs to be cut and the runway rolled to flatten the divots. The taxiway access to RWY 32 to taxi to the ramp is poor. Not advisable for nose wheel aircraft. The fuel price is reasonable and the Pyper Kub Cafe is a good place for the $200 omelets/hamburger. Say hello to Crazy Carol.

We've been flying into X60 for fuel (best prices around) for several years, always eating breakfast at the Pyper Kub. The airport was upgraded a few years ago and is in great condition. The FBO has the most helpful, friendly staff. The gas pump is updated and works well. All in all, a great find.
