2 other Gyroplane pilots, a 182 pilot and I stopped here for the night while enroute to Wauchula Florida. Aero One has the most pleasant and helpful line and desk staff you will ever find. The facilities are wonderful, they have nice courtesy cars, but they will not let you keep them overnight. However, they do have rental cars available. My only complaint is that they did not let us know about the $35 dollar ramp fee, the $30 facility fee, the $7.50 security fee and the 1.5% CC fee until we showed up in the morning. Gyroplanes hold 19 gallons, so we could not buy enough fuel to qualify, and 4 of them fit in the space of a C172. I could understand the fee if you are in a multiplace larger aircraft, but it was pretty excessive for a 2 seat light sport gyroplane. In the future, we will stay another airport more suited for our aircraft and avoid the $74.00 nightly fee. It is a wonderful airport, beautiful FBO, great staff, and if you are OK with the fee - a great place to stop.

Needed to get in some approaches and KDHN has plenty of options. Stopped in at Aero-One and they provided a courtesy car at lunchtime. Facility is very well maintained and Shelby and staff were most accommodating.

I stopped by Aero-One on a flight from north Alabama to Deland, FL to pick up an aircraft part. It was a short notice stop. I didn't want to stop if the part was not available. I called the maintenance shop who had the part before I left N AL to verify I could pick it up but couldn't get an answer. I then called Aero-One asking them to check and see if the nearby maintenance shop was open. Faith, the customer service rep I talked with at Aero-One, actually walked the short distance to the maintenance shop, located a technician and had that person call me. Later on she called me on Unicom while I was flying to let me know the part was available. When I landed the part was at the FBO counter. It was great work on Faith's part and I'm sure she represents the high level of service Aero-One provides. I didn't buy any fuel so I paid the ramp fee. It certainly was reasonable at $35 for a Piper Cheyenne I, in Destin, FL I have to pay $160. Stop by KDHN and Aero-One, a great FBO.

Our experience says Aero-One at Dothan is a top-notch FBO. Line, Desk and manager well trained and listen to your requests. Desk provided the crew car for late arrival first evening and a rental the next morning with ease. Tower friendly and helped us in avoiding storms on 6-May-2021. Line staff suggested hangaring bird ahead of anticipated 65-Mph storm winds hours later and they were right. Excellent FBO.
