Ranger Aviation is outstanding! Every phone call and face-to-face interaction is very friendly and professional. Ranger can arrange for a rental car from Hertz or other companies and will drive it out on to the ramp when you arrive. On departure day rain was just starting to fall when we drove our rental car onto the ramp. John met us and offered to put our C182 back in their hangar since a storm was approaching. We accepted his offer and about 20 minutes later when the storm had passed, he and Christian pulled our Skylane back onto the ramp. The Ranger Aviation facility has everything a pilot or passenger could need. We will be back regularly.

Jerica saved our day yesterday. We had to divert an Angel Flight from Abilene to San Angelo due to weather below my personal minimums. Upon arrival at SJT the lineman shuttled me to the terminal to rent a car. Unfortunately the agency in the terminal had none available. Jerica jumped on the phone and found a rental car from an agency in town minutes before they closed. As a result, I was able to get the Angel Flight patient home that evening. The entire staff at Ranger is top notch!!

Have stopped here many times over the last 13 years, always a great mid Texas stop. After landing in 110 dg F temps, decided to just stay and get a room. Booked car at airport Avis. Went to terminal and was informed that the Avis app will allow booking when they have no cars. Totally unacceptable for Avis to do this. Ranger came to the rescue and offered up one of their crew cars and saved a lot of hassle. Thanks Ranger, well will be back. Great staff there as well.

Nice stop and a brand-new self-serve fuel station. I really appreciate the crew racing out to tie down my plane right before the arrival of a flight of four Apaches landed nearby!
